This project entailed work within two different areas at the VA Medical Center and Nursing Home Building. The work at the VA Medical Center consisted of 11,200 square feet of unassigned areas, mechanical and electrical rooms, and connecting corridors. Additionally, 10,400 square feet of space for a Dialysis Center on the first floor was also included.CTSI, as a part of the renovation and new construction work, was asked to perform a pre-implementation site survey to install a voice/data cable support system, and CAT3, Plenum rated, and fiber optic backbone including duct. There was also cable identification, verification, testing and labeling requirements included. The cabling was required to be run between various buildings at the VA Medical Center. This was a design build project.
